4 Day Detox Healthy Eating Cleanse

Autumn is here, and what a great reason to begin the new season with an effective 4-day detox cleanse! Our detox cleansing diet can help remove toxins from your body and be thought of as a whole body cleanse. Super-clean detox eating program can do wonders for your mind, body and soul.

Below is our reliable go-to beach body cleanse that will leave you feeling refreshed and energised. The lunch and dinner recipes serve 4 people, so you can make a large batch and prep and store, for later use.

Lemon Detox Diet Cleanse-Skinny Time Tea

Natural Detox

Detox Lemon Drink Cleanse (drink on waking)
2 tbsp. lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
2 tbsp. Honey (optional)
1/10 tsp of powder cayenne pepper
250 ml of boiled water
 Smoothie Bowl-Skinny Time Tea

Breakfast

Green Smoothie Bowl
1/4 ripe avocado
frozen bananas 
1cup fresh or frozen mixed berries 
2 handfuls spinach 
1small handful kale 
1 1/2 cup coconut water
1 Tbs flaxseed meal
Tbs almond or peanut butter (optional)
    Blend ingredients in a blender, pour into a bowl and sprinkle with your favourite toppings. Some suggestions are: hemp or chia seeds, chopped almonds, pecans or almonds, fresh berries or goji berries, shredded coconut.

    Clean Salad-Skinny Time Tea

    Lunch

    Detox Asian Inspired Salad
    2 carrots, grated
    1 red capsicum, finely diced
    2 celery stalks, finely diced
    1/4 medium red onion, finely diced
    1/4 cup cilantro or parsley, chopped
    2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
    1 cup wild rice
    Optional: 1/4 cup roasted peanuts, almonds, or cashews
      Dressing:
      2 tbs toasted sesame oil
      1 tbs lemon juice
      1 tbs honey
      2 tbs soy sauce
      1 tbs grated ginger
      1 small clove of grated garlic (optional)
        Combine salad ingredients in one bowl and toss with the dressing.

         Detox Tea Smoothie -Skinny Time Tea

        Mid-afternoon Detox

        3 Celery stalks
        1 or 2 Green apples (depending  on the desired sweetness)
        8 large Kale Leaves
        Juice from 1 Lemon
        Thumb size piece of Ginger
        1 Cucumber
          Wash ingredients. Peel the lemon & cucumber and core apple. Add all ingredients through a juicer. Enjoy!

          Clean Diet -Skinny Time Tea

          Dinner

          Steamed Vegetables with Sesame-Chile Oil (Serves 4)
          3 carrots, peeled and cut on the bias into 1/2-inch pieces
          8 spears asparagus, cut into 2-inch pieces 
          1/4 head cauliflower, cut into 1-inch florets 
          1/4 head broccoli, cut into 1-inch florets 
            Dressing
            1 tablespoon sesame-chile oil 
            1 teaspoon olive oil 
            2 cloves garlic, chopped 
            1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes 
            Juice of 1/2 lemon 
            Salt and freshly ground black pepper 

              Arrange the carrots, asparagus, cauliflower and broccoli in a metal steamer basket; place in the pot and cover. Steam the vegetables until slightly tender but still with a little crunch, 5 to 6 minutes.

              While the veggies are steaming, heat a small saute pan over medium heat. Add the sesame-chile oil, olive oil, garlic and pepper flakes, and cook for 1 minute.

              Transfer the steamed vegetables to a bowl. Add the sesame-chilli oil mixture and the lemon juice, and season to taste with salt and pepper. Toss to coat the vegetables evenly.

              Serve immediately.
